BT Broadband trialling Barefruit - the plot thins

So BT have switched off the Barefruit->NXDOMAIN trial as of 8-Sep-2010. Another user trial without permission.

My current DNS servers are:

Primary DNS 194.74.65.68
Secondary DNS 217.32.171.21

Both of which return NXDOMAIN for sausages.ora

My previous DNS server is now giving NXDOMAINS and the other server is down:

tng@danny:~$ dig sausages.ora @62.6.40.178

; <<>> DiG 9.6.1-P2 <<>> sausages.ora @62.6.40.178
;; global options: +cmd
;; Got answer:

Could it be that they are hacking/unhacking BIND source code on 194.72.65.69 ?

Still no response from Customer Services as to why this happened.

I'm not sure they have finished. I'm with BT as ISP, and non-existent domains all resolve to 92.242.132.15.

Oh dear. Thanks for letting me know.

Yes the trial is back on at my end. Looks like all of BTs DNS servers have been polluted and I get NOERROR for NXDOMAINs.

I'll update my blog later today and in the meantime use Google for my DNS (8.8.8.8).
